Session Overview
We are looking for someone to support and give guidance in a decision to relocate our website, currently hosted in WordPress with a mix of old WordPress tools and the Divi Enhancer editor, to a more user-friendly platform.
We are a small team with no designated IT department and no HTML skilled employees. Some of the considerations that we are looking for help in making are creating a more uniform base for our website with the recently updated branding or re-creating/moving the currently hosted site to a new platform entirely.
Nonprofit Overview
Nurse-Family Partnership is a nationwide, evidence-based home visiting model for low-income pregnant mothers. Nurses visit mothers from pregnancy until their child is two years old, providing education and support to create dramatic improvements in outcomes for babies.
As The Friends, our mission is to improve babies’ lives by assuring that NYC NFP has the resources to fully achieve its goals. We provide financial assistance to mothers to allow them to pursue higher education and we pay for activities and events that increase their social and community connections. We also provide benefits for nurses that advance their skills and contribute to their satisfaction and retention. None of these additional services are available under the basic government-funded program. Friends increases the impact of the program on NYC clients.
