Help! We need advice. We're working with Affinity to create PDF resources and newsletters. How can we get ALT Text onto our images, and check our resources for screen reader legibility WITHOUT having to pay lots of money or buy-in and learn how to use alternative publishing software? We want to include ALT Text on the images and use a checker to evaluate screen reader legibility. ALT Text functionality seems poor/absent in Affinity, but it's the publishing software we already have and know best how to use.
Nonprofit Overview
We exist to create a world that makes space for stuttering (stammering in the UK). Where a stammer is embraced as just a difference. Where no-one judges us on our stammer or the way we choose to deal with it.
We stand up for and empower those who stammer and challenge discrimination wherever we find it. We provide support, information and resources for people who stammer, their families, educators and employers. And we work with organisations to ensure they're making space for staff, customers and service users who stammer.
Join us and help the public understand that stammering is not a sign of being shy, drunk, dishonest, nervous or weak. It's simply how some of us talk.
