Nonprofit Overview

Meals in the Meantime is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing food support and assistance. Our mission is filling the food gap in Chicagoland south suburbs with nourishment and dignity. We help seniors, single women and men, families, young adults, and children.

We provide food at pop-up food pantries by partnering with community and faith-based organizations, local townships, and villages. We help people who need food directly in neighborhoods where they live. The core of our work is putting free, fresh, healthy, high-quality food directly in the hands of people in need.
