Session Overview
Our goal for the consultation session is to strategize and facilitate recruiting additional diverse board members for the essential roles of treasurer and legal advisor before June 1. We aim to identify potential candidates who bring diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and expertise to our organization's leadership team. The session aims to outline a clear action plan for reaching out to qualified individuals and persuading them to join our board. Additionally, we seek to address potential challenges or barriers in our recruitment process and brainstorm innovative solutions to overcome them. Ultimately, our objective is to strengthen our board's effectiveness and ensure that it reflects the diverse communities we serve.

Uptown & Boogie Healthy Project 501(c)(3) expands access to fresh, nutritious food and bicycle education within two New York City neighborhoods - Harlem and The Bronx. Our programming creates opportunities for low-income community residents in under-resourced areas to learn how to lead healthier lifestyles through food and fitness.
