We are a 501 (c) 3 therapeutic riding program that has been in operation 24 years. We provide equine assisted activities and therapy to youth and adults with physical, social and emotional challenges. Recently I as founder and main program manager had to reduce involvement physically. We never were able to fund hiring an ED and with me no longer physically there the board has taken over on an all volunteer basis and run the program for over a year. However it is incredibly time consuming and not sustainable long term the way we are currently running it. We are concerned we may need to end the program if we cannot find a way to sustainably fund it. We need someone to look at our program and either give us suggestions as to how we can keep operating without burning out our board and staff, or confirm we are no longer viable (which we all really hope is not true, but.....)
