Project need

The ESL In-Home Program of Northern Nevada (website eslinhome.org) needs a pro-bono skilled person with expertise in writing grants and/or to tweak our proposals that we have sent out with no success. We have just received a letter from a foundation inviting us to apply for grant funds. However, we sent proposals to them the past 6 years which they have denied. We need to revise what we are doing to obtain funds and/or feedback as to what requirements they have that we do not meet. I would send copies of our LOI and proposal which needs editing to reduce the number of pages.
Our program is a much-needed successful one in freely teaching English language skills to immigrants and refugee adults, especially those of low-to-moderate income. In the 14 years of our existence, we have helped over 5,000 families. Today we have 205 trained ESL tutors helping 432 learners. However, we have over 900 on our wait-list who are eager to learn English. We need funds to purchase their instructional material. We already have trained tutors waiting to start with learners. We have long-term tutors who are able and willing to train new tutors as soon as funds are made available to purchase their instructional material
