Social media strategy development
We need a strategy to reach as many people as possible in a rural county in the Pacific Northwest. This rural setting is marked by four main outposts which are denoted by their cultural and geographical isolation. We have the basics of social media but we lack a cohesive plan to maximize our limited resources with a strong, active, and engaging social media presence which will bring focus and attention to the work that we do, the people we help, and reducing the stigma of homelessness, crisis, or trauma for everyday people. We are inexperienced with the development and implementation of marketing and social media strategy, yet we realize the importance of this endeavor as a key factor of ongoing success. For us it is more about community engagement and disseminating positive, factual information on an ongoing basis in the best, most professional manner possible. We are extremely enthusiastic and eager for your help. Concurrently, we are also looking to penetrate all demographics with a strong sense of cultural competency aligned with a simple user interface. We are hoping that our social media and marketing strategy will be applicable to individuals and families across multiple generations. We believe in our rural area and in this society, social media is the key to marketing. We are an up and coming nonprofit built from the ground up to address homelessness, crisis, and trauma. We started a transitional housing program in a very small, rural area serving women and children and are prepared to expand. We are an Alliance of individuals working to make our city, our Peninsula, our County, and our State a community of neighbors who always have a cup of sugar to loan. Throughout our 20+ years of experience in the fields addressing homelessness, crisis, and trauma, we have seen what works and what doesn't. We have created a nonprofit committed to being apart of the solution and sharing that solution with others. Volunteers for this project would not only be apart of healing the 13 adults and children in our current housing program, but apart of healing our city, county, state, and nation. We have created social media platforms on Facebook and Twitter, and have created a website. We dedicate time each week to work on our marketing and have several plans for continuing our goal of disseminating our mission. We are dedicated to marketing and social media each day, we have interns (no funds for full-time staff yet, but we are hoping) who will be able to coordinate with volunteers and continue the marketing plan once it has been created. A marketing plan will not only allow us to reach more potential clients, but it will help support our efforts through fundraising and donations. Because we are so new, we rely heavily on local and regional support. A strong marketing plan is essential for us and is our agency's priority, as well as our staff's priority.
To provide housing and wrap-around social services to individuals and families experiencing homeless, crisis or trauma with a goal towards personal self-sufficiency, recovery and wellness.

Step 2: Interview
You'll have a 30 minute call to discuss the scope and deliverables of the project directly with Our Resilient Community Alliance - ORCA, and for them to confirm you're a good fit.
Step 3: Start
Once accepted, you'll be able to get right to work. We will check in with you periodically to make sure you have everything you need.
