I am proposing a redesign of our website, www.BBGC.org
. The site is on a proprietary platform that the Boys & Girls Clubs of America uses - I believe it is similar to Wordpress. I would like a site that is more user-friendly/easier to navigate and to understand for Club members and for potential donors. I believe that the site as it exists is okay on a basic functional level, but does not have the professional look or user experience on par with the quality of programs we provide for youth and families.
The Boys & Girls Club of Bristol Family Center is unlike any other Boys & Girls Club in the country! We operate 5 divisions that serve up to 1,000 youth per day, and we are the only Boys & Girls Club in the country that operates a children's museum. We are currently undergoing a rebranding project to better tell the story of who we are as an organization. A redesigned website will serve as a gateway to our Club and express who we are in a way that will be easier for our Club members, donors, and supporters to navigate and use.
We are currently in the final stages of a multi-month rebranding process. With new key messages and brand identity standards in place ready to go, I believe that we're in a great position to begin the development of a new site. I became the website administrator in January and will continue to manage the website and make updates moving forward/after the project is complete.
