Glade Run Lutheran Services
Public relations strategy
Glade Run is a historic agency with over 164 years of experience serving children and families in our communities. Thousands have been served over the years with innovative programming and services. One such program, closed in 2016, was a residential treatment facility for children with severe mental illness. We have had some negative publicity that we are trying to overcome, and continue to have some press surrounding participants in that program years ago. With so many other wonderful programs that help so many, we are looking for assistance to shift the focus on those programs and generate positive PR for the agency. Help a historic agency that has been serving since before the civil war and that serves thousands of people each year break away from past occurrences and rebuild its positive community image. While our reputation remains strong with our referring agencies and those we serve, the public should know about all of the positive things going on at Glade Run under our new leadership. This represents an exciting challenge for the right volunteer. We have changed a great deal in the past couple of years, with a new logo, new leadership, program expansion, and investments in marketing. Our staff is excited to participate in a project, and we have pulled together a board and staff public relations committee that will carry the work forward.
